Autumn-Winter 2011-12
The Autumn-Winter Collection 2011-12 is called "Military Chic" and consists of hand-woven bags, scarves, earrings, brooches and shoes. The colours, patterns and shapes of the collection are inspired from the military, navy and air force uniforms and badges.
The hand-woven fabrics of this collection are made from a combination of different yarns such as fancy yarns, lurex, viscose and chenille which create a chic and luxurious effect!
Each piece of the collection is hand-woven therefore, unique!
Spring-Summer 2011
The Spring/Summer 11 collection is called "I Love Summer" and consists of two lines. The "I Love Colours" and the "I Love Neutrals" line. The collection consists of one of a kind hand-woven accessories such as handbags (duffel bags, clutches, shoulder bags and plastic bags), shawls, earrings and brooches.The patterns of the woven fabrics are taken from the shapes of accent mosaics from a last Summer's trip to Pafos in Cyprus.
The colours which are used for the "I Love Colours" line are taken from previous summer holidays. The yarns which are used for the woven fabrics are pure cotton and linen.
The colours for the "I Love Neutrals" line are natural and are taken from sea shells which I have collected during previous summer holidays! The yarns which are used for the woven fabric are made from textural yarns such as wild silk, cotton, linen, boucle, chenille and fancy yarns.
Autumn-Winter 2010-11
This is the first collection of the Brand Simoni Textile designs for Autumn-Winter 2010-11. The collection is called "Rose Garden" and consists of hand-woven handbags, scarfs capes and earrings.
Some of the accessories are decorated with handmade embroidered buttons, and lace. The fabrics follow a tweed technique. The yarns which are used for the fabric are: pure cotton, pure merino wool, mohair and fancy yarns.
The inspiration for this collection was drawn from the Victorian era, and mostly from the pastel colors of the embroidered roses found on the clothing and interior of that era. The collection is very romantic and aims to bring back a vintage feel.
