The Spring/Summer 11 collection is called “I Love Summer” and consists of two lines. The “I Love Colours” and the “I Love Neutrals” line. The collection consists of one of a kind hand-woven accessories such as handbags (duffel bags, clutches, shoulder bags and plastic bags), shawls, earrings and brooches.The patterns of the woven fabrics are taken from the shapes of accent mosaics from a last Summer’s trip to Pafos in Cyprus.
The colours which are used for the “I Love Colours” line are taken from previous summer holidays. The yarns which are used for the woven fabrics are pure cotton and linen.
The colours for the “I Love Neutrals” line are natural and are taken from sea shells which I have collected during previous summer holidays! The yarns which are used for the woven fabric are made from textural yarns such as wild silk, cotton, linen, boucle, chenille and fancy yarns.
